Thursday Freebie ~ Sight Words

Happy Thursday....

These weeks sure do fly by in the summer! Summer is officially HALF WAY over for this girl here.... and the second half is going to FLY BY!

I will be heading to Vegas the week after next to present at the I Teach 1st Conference and then heading back to present for a few local districts the week after that!  I'm guessing July will be passing rather quickly!

But, since it's Thursday.... it's time for another Thankful FREEBIE!!

Today is all about Sight Words.... again! :)   I don't know what it is about sight words... but I am ALWAYS coming up with different and new ideas to help my students master these words.

Today's freebie includes the first 25 Fry words, although the first 100 fry words will hopefully be available soon (stay tuned!)

Introducing.... Sight Word Case Files!

You can use a file folder, manila envelope (pictured above!), or regular folder!   Just attach the cover (I just glued!) to the folder to create a holding place for the Sight Word Files :)  Perfect for stations, morning work, fast finishers, weekly activity, and more!

Each "Sight Word File" contains a sight word and students will be having to write, trace with pencil, crayon, determine the number of letters, vowels, consonants, identify the word, and write the word legibly on handwriting lines.

Here a close-up look at one of the "files" :)

Once students complete the "Sight Word File" page, they can simply place it into their Case they created!

And then continue on with the Sight Word Files throughout the year as needed!

You can grab this FREEBIE by clicking HERE or on the picture below :)

Hope you enjoy :)

You can also find ALL of my sight word products in my TpT store on Sale today!

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments about the freebie today!

Happy Teaching!
